Study programs within Avans University of Applied Sciences have varying interpretations of the term ‘(academic) career counseling’ or ‘(academic) career orientation’. A framework is to be introduced for academic career counseling in which the LIC also provides advice.

A focus is placed on the following:

  • what does academic career counseling involve?

  • are credits awarded for academic career counseling?

  • is academic career counseling offered to all students, or just to a select group? How is academic career counseling organized?

  • the framework will soon be published on this website
